Beginning Friday afternoon,
the conference will offer workshops and portfolio reviews given
by leading industry figures as well as expert VACNJ instructors.
The following information offers a glimpse into some of the
activities attendees will be participating in during the
three-day program.
Fri., April 4:
• Conference will kickoff at 7pm with keynote speaker, Stephen
Perloff, Photo Review Magazine, Editor-in Chief: “Photographic
Truth in the Digital Age.”
• Gala opening reception for the Arts Center photography faculty
exhibit being held in galleries throughout the building. Free
and open to the public. 9pm.
Sat., April 5:
• Begins at 10:30am with workshops, lectures and portfolio
reviews.
• Lively panel discussion at 7pm moderated by George Schaub,
Editor of Shutterbug Magazine: “The Image as Information: Where
Does That Lead Us?”
Sun., April 6:
• Open 10am-6pm featuring photographic exhibitor fair from your
favorite manufacturers, portfolio reviews and art center tours. |

combined databases of the VACNJ, New Jersey Photography Forum
and Digital Arts Group.
• Press releases to 1100 central and northern NJ, PA, NY and CT
press outlets. Total circulation reach is approximately one
million homes.

addresses collected at the VACNJ booth at Javits Center Photo
Expo in 2006/2007.
